Learn how to add gradients to images in a few steps.
Gradients provide information about the change in the color intensity in an image in a given direction. The Gradient tool helps create a gradual blend between multiple colors in your composite.
Choose Select > Lasso and make a freehand selection.
Note
If no selection is made, the gradient fill will apply to the entire active layer.
Select Foreground color in the toolbar and choose the color you’d like to use.
Select Paint > Gradient .
Drag the cursor across the selected area to fill it with the gradient.
