When the Firefly app is launched, you'll see a splash screen and consent dialogue, followed by a welcome screen with options to sign in or continue without signing in.

You can sign in by tapping the sign-in button in the top bar. Options include Google, Facebook, Apple, Adobe ID, Microsoft, and Line. One-tap sign-in for Google IDs is also available. Alternatively, tap the Generate button to sign in.

Once signed in, you can use Firefly features like Text to imageText to videoImage to video, and Generative expand. For example, you can create festive greeting banners or videos of flowing water.

If installed on your device, the app lets you edit generated images with Adobe Express. You'll be directed to the App Store or Google Store to install it if not.

Users who have the Lightroom app installed and are signed in will be automatically signed in to the Firefly on mobile app with the same credentials after providing consent. On iOS, this sign-in is shared across all Adobe mobile apps.

All users are given free credits to use the image and video generation. When the free credits are exhausted, you'll encounter a paywall on the Text to image and Text to video page, highlighting subscription benefits such as generation credits and storage. You can select a subscription, provide payment details, and complete the purchase.

Note:

When using Generative fill, if you're out of credits and try to generate content, you'll encounter a paywall, prompting you to upgrade to a paid plan.
