AI Assistant editor layout
Get familiar with AI Assistant editor layout and understand what each section does. This will help you navigate the editor with ease and make the most of its features.
- A. AI Assistant toggle button: Toggle AI Assistant on or off at any time to switch between manual editing and prompt-based assistance.
- B. Context bar: Manually adjust individual objects on the page as needed using the context bar, which provides options to edit, delete, and more.

Generative AI in AI Assistant
When you prompt AI Assistant to create or modify images, it may use generative AI to produce results. Your instructions are interpreted by advanced models that can generate, edit, or transform content directly within your canvas.
AI Assistant combines Adobe Firefly and third-party models to power generative features, and automatically selects the best model for the task. You cannot manually select a model. In addition to Firefly, the listed partner models are used for image generation. Learn more about the models and their qualities:
