Animate designs

Learn how to animate objects using Animate all and the In, Out, and Loop animation options in Adobe Express.

Adobe Express lets you animate icons, shapes, letters, text blocks, and images. You can animate all elements at once with a single click, or add transitions between pages in multi-page designs.

Animate text, photos, and videos with a few simple steps.

Animate the entire design

Open a design in the Adobe Express editor.

Select Edit page  ,  , and then select Animate all

Select the animation type. 

The image shows the Animate all panel on the left with the animation options like Bloom, Glide, Popping, Sunrise, and Waterfall. The right side shows the editor.
Use the Animate all panel to select and apply animation to the entire design.

Add animation between pages

Open a design in the Adobe Express editor.

Select a text box, graphic, photo, or other object, then select Animation from the left panel, to apply an InOut, or Loop animation.

Select one or more animations from Visibility, Move, and Scale and adjust the Intensity, Speed, Direction, or Personality according to your requirements. 

Select Download to save your design with animation. 

Tip

Start and end animations outside the edge of your page. Move the shapes, text, and other elements out of the frame with custom animations.

  • For In animations: Check the box labeled Start outside page to make the animation begin off the page.
  • For Out animations: Check the box labeled End outside page to make the animation finish off the page.
