Create videos in Adobe Express

Learn how to get started with creating a video from scratch in Adobe Express.

Follow along with any design to create a video.

  1. On the Adobe Express homepage, select Video and start with your preferred video task.

  2. In the Adobe Express editor, select Upload from the left panel to upload media, or select Media and drag and drop videos, images, and design assets onto the timeline.

  3. Select Add scene   from the right of the timeline to add a new scene to the video.

  4. Select Switch views, then Scene view in the video timeline to polish your videos faster.

    You can select the Switch views icon to toggle between Scene view and Selected layer.

  5. Customize your video with text, design assets, images, and more using the Adobe Express video editing tool.

  6. To edit multiple scenes at once, hold the Shift key on the keyboard and select the scenes in the timeline. You can then bulk-edit background colors, apply transitions, delete, or duplicate multiple clips at once.

  7. Hover over a scene to reveal the trim handles and drag them to shorten or lengthen the duration of the scene. Learn how to locate timed objects in your scene and adjust the layer timing.

  8. Select Download to save the video to your device.
