Last updated on May 14, 2025

Learn how to create and publish Google Ads in Adobe Express using the Google Ads add-on.

Adobe Express now offers a Google Ads add-on that allows you to create and publish Google Ads directly from one platform. This feature allows for seamless integration between Adobe Express's design capabilities and Google Ads' publishing platform, streamlining your advertising workflow.

Install the Google Ads add-on through the Add-ons marketplace

  1. On the Adobe Express homepage, select  Add-ons in the left panel.

  2. Look for Google Ads in the list of available add-ons, or type in Google Ads in the search bar and select Add to install the add-on.

Access the add-on when starting a Google Ads project

  1. From the homepage, go to the Social and Ads category, then select Google Ads.

  2. Choose any task or template—the add-on will automatically appear on the right.

Set up the Google Ads add-on

  1. Install the add-on when prompted (if not already installed).

  2. When the add-on opens, you'll be prompted to connect to Google Ads. Follow the authentication process to link your Google account.

Note: This will require you to sign in to your Google account.

  3. After authentication, choose the correct Google Ads account you want to work with.

Use the Google Ads add-on and publish your project

Once you’ve set up the Google Ads add-on, you can:

  • Import content from your existing Google Ads account.
  • Add images and text to create your ads, using assets from your Google Ads accounts, along with the Google Ads Templates and editing tools in Adobe Express.
  • Export content from Adobe Express to your Google Ads account.

Once you’ve completed your ad design in Adobe Express, you can publish your Google Ads project. Your published ad will appear in Google Ads Manager. From there, you can use the content directly in your campaigns.

Note:
  • Only static content is supported currently.
  • If you're using Microsoft Edge Strict mode or a browser with strict privacy settings and facing issues with the add-on, particularly with importing images, open Adobe Express in Google Chrome instead, where the add-on should work as expected.
