Learn how to apply effects to layers and modify them.
Select Effect, and then select an option to apply the effect.
To apply an effect to a specific attribute of a layer, select Window > Appearance.
In the Appearance panel, select the layer and then select the attribute.
Select Add New Effect in the Appearance panel and select an effect.
To modify the effect, select the effect’s name in the Appearance panel and make the required modifications.
