Learn how to enhance your footage by applying video and audio effects to clips in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Before you begin:
Create a sequence on the timeline.

Select Window > Effects to open the Effects panel.

Browse effects by category or use the search bar to find a specific effect.

Drag and drop the effect onto the video or audio clip in the timeline.
NoteYou cannot apply audio effects if Show Track Volume or Show Track Keyframes are enabled for the audio track.

Play back the clip to see if the effect is applied.
-
Customize the effect in the Effect Controls panel.
To see the effects applied on a clip, hover the mouse pointer over the effects icon for an audio and video clip in the Timeline panel.
