Support for screen readers and screen magnifiers
Premiere offers limited support for assistive technologies, including screen readers and screen magnifiers. The screen reader is a tool that reads the text aloud displayed on a computer screen. It can also convey non-textual elements such as button labels and image descriptions, provided these are tagged appropriately with accessibility attributes.
While these tools can access some aspects of Premiere, particularly when paired with operating system-level accessibility settings, full functionality may not be available. For a detailed overview of what is currently supported, see Accessibility Conformance Reports.
Support for operating system accessibility features
Premiere works with several built-in accessibility features on macOS. For example, when you adjust visual settings in System Settings > Accessibility, changes carry over into the Premiere workspace. This includes settings like display contrast and text size.
Note
Windows support is limited. Premiere does not fully support Windows High Contrast Mode. Only the title bars and menus reflect high contrast settings, while the rest of the interface remains unaffected.
