Map to audio output device hardware channels

Learn how to map sequence audio channels in Adobe Premiere.

Mapping audio tracks to specific hardware output channels is essential for precise audio monitoring and mixing, especially in multi-channel studio setups. This allows you to control where each audio track is sent, ensuring your output matches your production needs.

Select Edit > Preferences > Audio Hardware.

In the Output Managing section, specify the driver under Map Output for. Premiere selects Adobe Desktop Audio by default.

Drag the desired sequence channel tile to align with the desired hardware channel in the list.
