Memory preferences

Learn more about the Memory preferences in Adobe Premiere.

In the Memory panel of the Preferences dialog box, you can specify the amount of RAM reserved for other applications, and for Premiere. For example, as you reduce the amount of RAM reserved for other applications, the amount of RAM left available for Premiere increases.

The Preferences dialog is open to Memory panel showing the total installed RAM, the amount reserved for other applications, and the remaining RAM available for other Adobe apps like Premiere.
Set the default Memory preferences for Installed RAM and RAM reserved for other applications.
