Learn how to edit, organize, and share PDFs from WhatsApp using Adobe Acrobat.
With Adobe Acrobat and WhatsApp integration, you can open PDFs shared on WhatsApp and edit them directly in Acrobat. Update content, reorder pages, and save your changes without switching apps. Once done, share the updated PDF back to WhatsApp or store it securely to Adobe cloud storage. Refer to the Acrobat for WhatsApp FAQs for feature details, access, and availability.
If the Adobe Acrobat extension for Chrome is installed, PDFs from WhatsApp open automatically in the Acrobat extension. If it’s not installed, PDFs open in the Adobe Acrobat custom app.
Select Edit PDF > Edit in Acrobat from the top menu.
Select Continue to Acrobat and sign in to your Adobe account if prompted.
Select the text you want to modify, then use the Format text and Add content options in the Edit pane to:
- Format text: Change the font, size, style, color, or spacing.
- Add content: Insert new text or images.
- Manage layout: Adjust objects or reposition sections.
Editing PDFs require a paid Acrobat plan and sign‑in. You can only view PDFs and use free tools without a subscription.
