Manage Content Credentials
Learn about Manage in Adobe Content Authenticity, which allows you to find, view, and delete Content Credentials that you’ve stored in Adobe’s Content Credentials cloud.
With Manage in Adobe Content Authenticity (Beta), you can find, view, and delete Content Credentials that you’ve stored in Adobe’s Content Credentials cloud.
Copies of your actual files are not stored in Manage or Adobe’s Content Credentials cloud. Manage displays thumbnail previews of the work your Content Credentials were applied to, to help you find the Content Credentials you’re looking for. Learn more about Content Credentials.
Content Credentials that appear in Manage
When you apply Content Credentials using Adobe’s tools, you can choose to store a copy in Adobe's Content Credentials cloud. This makes your Content Credentials more durable, ensuring they are recoverable even if the metadata is stripped or if a screenshot is taken. Learn more about Content Credential storage
Content Credentials that don't appear in Manage
- If you only embed Content Credentials directly into your file during export, without also saving them to the cloud, they can’t be viewed or deleted in Manage.
- Content Credentials applied to disclose the use of Generative AI cannot be deleted.
Delete Content Credentials
You can use Manage to delete Content Credentials you’ve stored in Adobe’s Content Credentials cloud. Deleting Content Credentials:
- Removes your Content Credential from Adobe’s Content Credentials cloud.
- Prevents your Content Credentials from appearing in results from the Search for Possible Matches feature in Inspect.
However, deleting Content Credentials doesn't:
- Remove Content Credentials embedded directly in a file.
- Remove your Content Credentials from other files that use your asset as an ingredient.
- Remove Content Credentials published on a website or platform.
