Share templates with controlled permissions

Learn how to add lock permissions and brand controls to a shared template.

Note:

This feature is available for Teams and Enterprise plans.

  1. Open a file in Adobe Express to reuse as a shareable template with locked permissions.

  2. Once your design is ready to be shared, select the Share button.

  3. In the Make a Template panel, open the Info tab and enter a name for the template in the Template name field.

  4. Open the Location dropdown to save the template to existing Brands or Libraries, or select the plus   icon to create a new Brand or Library for the template.

  5. Select Template note to type tips and guidance for the collaborator on how to use the template.

  6. Select Locks to see the locked layers in your design and select one of the following:

    • Users can unlock layers if needed
    • Users with a passphrase can unlock layers if needed (You must add a passphrase if using this option)
    • No users can unlock layers

  7. Select Style and slide the toggles to add restrictions.

  8. Select Save template.

  9. Once the template is saved, select Copy link to share the template.
