Learn how to set custom margins to ensure important elements don't get cut from your designs in Adobe Express.

When editing a design in Adobe Express, you can easily add custom margins. Margins ensure important design elements aren't cut off during printing. You can adjust your design to ensure all essential elements stay within the margins.

  1. Open a file in Adobe Express.

  2. From the header, select Margins.

  3. Select the Show margins and Show bleed toggles to display margins and bleed on your file. Bleed prevents unwanted white edges on printed materials.

  4. Margins are set according to your chosen format. You can manually modify the Top, Left, Bottom, and Right margins. Select Reset to revert to default settings, or Apply to all pages to apply the changes across your entire file.

Note

For various social media formats, Margins on the header is replaced with Safe zones. Safe zones help you design within the visible display areas specific to each platform, ensuring your posts appear polished and professional on multiple formats, such as Instagram Reels Ad, Instagram Story, Facebook Story, LinkedIn Video Ad, and more.
