Learn how to generate image variations in Firefly Boards using both Adobe and non-Adobe models.

While working in Firefly Boards (beta), you can generate image variations and add them to the canvas. You have options to choose from Adobe models like Firefly Model 3 and Firefly Model 4, as well as non-Adobe creative generative AI models such as Veo2 and Flux 1.1, among others.

Three different versions of a camellia flower have been added to the canvas. Each version includes indications showing which image models were used for their generation.
Use Adobe models or non-Adobe creative generative AI models to generate images for your mood board.

In addition, Content Credentials — a “nutrition label” for digital content that provides information on how it was created — will be attached to AI-generated images to indicate whether it was generated with Firefly or a non-Adobe creative model.

When the Content Credentials of an image on the canvas are selected, they display all the details about the image, including its source and AI information.
Check the Content Credentials of a generated image on the canvas to determine if it was created using Firefly or another non-Adobe creative model.

  1. On the Firefly homepage, select Firefly Boards.

  2. On the Firefly Boards page, select Create new.

  3. To generate an image with a text prompt and add it to the canvas, select the prompt bar at the bottom of the page.

  4. Add a text description in the prompt bar. You can also select from the available Firefly and Non-Firefly models and aspect ratio for the generated images.
