Generate videos using text prompts

Learn how to effortlessly generate videos in Adobe Express using text prompts and starting images.

Generate video in a few simple steps.

Open Adobe Express

Open a design or a blank page in the Adobe Express editor.

In the left panel, select Generative AI, then Video > Generate video.

In the Generate video panel, enter your text prompt in the prompt box.

Select the icon to add a Starting image and upload an image from your device.

Note: This step is optional. The starting image is used as a reference to guide the content of your video. Shot size and Camera angle dropdowns are disabled when you use a starting image.

Choose your desired Camera settings, Shot size, and Camera angle to refine the output.

Select Generate.

Select the play button on the page to preview the output.

Select Regenerate to create a new video using the same prompt and settings or update them and select Generate for a fresh output.

Note:

The video size automatically matches your page layout (Landscape pages use widescreen, while portrait pages default to a reel format). Once you start the workflow, you won’t be able to change the page size or video size. However, you can adjust the final video afterward to fit the page size.
