Learn how to resolve error code 25 "There was a problem installing your app" during Adobe app update.

You're installing an incompatible app version

Error code 25 indicates that you are trying to install the Intel version of an app on computers that run natively on ARM architecture-based processors. To resolve the error, install the correct version of the app:

Sign in to Adobe Home.

Select Download or Install for the app you want to install.

The Apps tab of the Creative Cloud web shows the apps available to launch, install, open in browser, or open in Desktop.
The web-based apps don't require installation. You can launch them in a browser window by selecting Open.

Note

If you are using an account provided by your school or company, you can request access to Adobe products or services that you don't already have.

Double-click the downloaded file to launch the installer.

Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation.

The Creative Cloud desktop installs automatically and manages the app installation. Once installed, your app opens automatically. You can also download the Creative Cloud desktop app manually.

To install more apps, select Install for the app in the Creative Cloud desktop app.

If you encounter problems installing the Creative Cloud desktop app from the Creative Cloud website, use a direct download link. Once it installs, install your app again.
