Error 198 occurs when the installer can't access a required file or folder during the update process. This can happen if the file was removed during a manual clean-up or if your user account lacks the necessary permissions. To resolve the error, follow these steps for your operating systems:
Select installation failed in the error message.
Select view error log and identify the file or folder that is either missing or has restricted permissions.
Right-click the file or folder and select Properties.
Select the Security tab.
Ensure your user account has Read & execute permissions.
If needed, select Edit and update the permissions.
Install the app again.

In the Sharing & Permissions section, find the entry for system.
Ensure it has Read & execute privileges.
