Manage directory access requests
Approve, reject, or revoke trustee access to shared directories in Admin Console.
As a system administrators, you can approve, reject, or revoke requests to ensure secure collaboration.
Accept access requests (owning organization)
Select the Access Request tab to view pending requests.
To approve all requests, select Accept All. To approve specific requests, select the checkbox to the left of each row and select Accept.
In the Accept Access Request confirmation screen, select Accept.
System Administrators in the trustee organizations receive email notification of the approval. Approved trustees can immediately add users to any domain within the trusted directory.
Reject access requests (owning organization)
Sign in to the Admin Console and navigate to Settings > Identity.
Select the Access Request tab.
Select the checkbox to the left of each request you want to reject and select Reject.
In the Reject Access Request screen, enter a reason for rejecting the request.
Select Reject to confirm.
The requesting organization receives an email with your rejection reason. Your email, name, and organizational information remain private.
Revoke trustee access (owning organization)
Sign in to the Admin Console and navigate to Settings > Identity.
Select the Trustees tab to view organizations with current access.
Select the checkbox to the left of each trustee organization whose access you want to revoke and select Revoke.
In the Revoke Trustee screen, select Revoke to confirm.
Revoking access removes users associated with the directory's domains from the trustee organization. Users retain access to their assigned apps, services, and storage until trustee administrators explicitly remove them and reclaim their assets.
