Assign products to users
Learn how to assign licenses to users based on your agreement type.
For Enterprise agreements, you must first create product profiles and then assign users to them. Each product license defines the number of users who can access the apps and services it includes.
Your organization purchases products as part of an agreement with Adobe. App or service-based products specify the number of licenses purchased, indicating how many users can use the included apps and services. You manage these products from the Products page in the Adobe Admin Console.
Prerequisites
You need:
- System Admin or Product Admin role in Adobe Admin Console
- Active product licenses in your organization
- User accounts created in the Admin Console
- Allowed domains and URLs on ports 80 and 443
The assignment method varies based on your licensing agreement and the type of product you're assigning. Learn how to deploy Shared Device Licenses.
Assign products using Named User Licensing
Select the product you want to assign to users.
Go to the Product Profiles tab and select New Profile.
Enter a profile name and description, then select Save.
Open the newly created product profile and go to the Users tab.
Select Add User, enter the user's name or email address, and select Save.
You can add up to ten users at once. To add more, repeat the process after saving your changes.
Remove users from products
Navigate to Products and select the product.
Go to the Users tab.
Select the checkboxes next to the user names you want to remove.
Select Remove Users from the toolbar.
In the confirmation dialog, select Remove Users to confirm.
Removing a user from a product immediately revokes their access to all apps and services included in that product. The license becomes available for reassignment to another user.
