Manage product profile admins
Assign or remove administrators to delegate product profile management tasks.
Reduce admin workload by assigning profile admins in the console to manage users, settings, and access across multiple profiles.
Before you begin
You’ll need:
- Product admin role in the Admin Console
- At least one existing product profile
- Valid user accounts (existing or email addresses to create new users)
Assign product profile admins
Select the product profile from the list, then go to the Admins tab.
Select Add Admin.
Enter the user's name or email address, then select the user from the dropdown list.
Select Save to assign the administrative role.
You can add up to ten admins at once. To add more, repeat the process. If you enter an email address for a user who doesn't exist in your organization, you'll be prompted to enter the user's details to create a new account.
Profile admins can manage users but cannot use the product unless they also add themselves as users.
The new product profile admins receive an email notification confirming their administrative role. This notification is sent regardless of the product profile's group notification settings.
Remove product profile admins
Navigate to the product profile and select the Admins tab.
Select the checkboxes next to the admin names you want to remove.
Select Remove Admins.
In the confirmation dialog, select Remove Admins to confirm the action.
Removing a product profile admin only revokes their administrative access to that specific profile. The user account remains in your organization and retains any product entitlements from other profiles or direct assignments.
