Map source audio channels on import

Learn how to automatically map source audio channels in Premiere Pro.
You can specify what type of audio track to be created when a clip is imported into a sequence.
- Select Preferences > Timeline.
- Select your options in the Default Audio Tracks section as per your requirements.
Choose the format of your media using the Timeline Preferences dialog box.
- Select OK.
Result
When you import clips into Premiere Pro, audio tracks will be created based on the specifications in Default Audio Tracks section.
