Learn about deleting audio or video tracks in Premiere Pro.

Before you begin

Identify and ensure that your project does not need the tracks you want to delete from your sequence.

  1. With the Timeline panel active, right-click the track and select Delete Track from the drop-down list.
  2. In the Delete Tracks dialog box, check the box for each type of track you want to delete.
  3. For each checked item, specify which tracks you want to delete in its menu and select OK.

Result

You’ll be able to delete audio and video tracks in Premiere Pro.
