Learn how to quickly interpret the VR footage in Premiere Pro.
Before you begin
Import a VR video and check if it has VR properties.
You would want to interpret the VR footage when:
- VR Properties are not present on a clip that is VR
- The VR Projection, VR Layout, and VR Captured View properties are present but have incorrect values assigned.
- Right-click on the clip in the Project panel and select Modify > Interpret Footage.
- In the Modify Clip window that opens, select VR Properties.
- Use the options under the VR Properties section to specify the settings.
- Use Properties from File
- Conform to
- Select OK.
Result
You have successfully interpreted footage as per the format and settings details specified in the VR Properties section of the Modify Clip dialog.
