Create a shape

Learn to create a shape in Premiere Pro for your video projects.
Use the Pen, Rectangle, Ellipse, and Polygon tools to create freeform shapes and paths in Premiere Pro.
Use shapes for various purposes - such as creating a Subscribe button for your YouTube channel.
- Click and hold the Rectangle tool to expose the Ellipse and Polygon shape tools. Select one of the shape tools and drag on your image to draw a shape.
- Create a shape by using the Selection Tool (V) to move your shape or change its width, height, rotation, or anchor point.
- Use the options in the Essential Graphics panel to change stroke and fill.
- (Optional) Add text to shapes to create your own graphics.
