Go to the AdobeGCCInfo folder and delete it along with all its contents. Find the existing folder in the following location:
- Windows: C:\Users\Public\Documents\AdobeGCInfo
- macOS: /Users/Shared/AdobeGCInfoWindows
Error code 9 indicates that gccustomhook failed to read user consent stored in the consent storage location, that is, the AdobeGCInfo folder. This consent is specific to the installation of Adobe Genuine Service.
AdobeGCInfo or its contents might be corrupted or have invalid permissions. Follow these steps to fix the error:
Go to the AdobeGCCInfo folder and delete it along with all its contents. Find the existing folder in the following location:
Relaunch the Creative Cloud desktop app.
Based on your requirement, select Accept or Deny on the Adobe Genuine Service consent dialog box.
