Error 504 causes package deployment failure

Learn how to resolve error code 504 "Package deployment is blocked" when deploying Adobe apps.

Error Code 504 occurs when installation is blocked due to system-level policies or user profile restrictions. This is common in enterprise or managed environments.

Roaming User Profiles are not configured

Roaming User Profiles may be required to allow package deployment on networked user accounts.

  1. Select the Start menu icon, then go to Settings > Accounts > Sync your settings.

  2. Turn on Sync settings.

User is logged in with a temporary profile

If no policies are configured on your system and you still see this error, you might be logged in with a temporary profile. To resolve this, log out and log in again with your account and install the app again.
