Windows
In the Preferences dialog box, select Signatures from the left menu, then select More in the Creation & Appearance section.
In the Appearances section, select New.
In the dialog box that opens, enter a title for the signature.
Under Configure Graphic:
- Select No graphic to display only text.
- Select Imported graphic to add an image (such as your handwritten signature). Select File > Browse to upload the image.
- Select Name to display only the default icon and your name from your digital ID.
Under Configure Text, choose what information to include, such as name and organization. You can select Distinguished name to display details from your digital ID.
Under Text Properties, specify the writing direction and type of digits used.
Select OK.
To include your handwritten signature, scan it and save as an image. For best results, place it in a document and save it as a PDF before importing.
macOS
Select Acrobat > Preferences.
