Rotate pages in PDFs

Learn how to rotate pages in a PDF to fix orientation issues or customize your document layout.

Rearrange the pages in your PDF in a few simple steps.

Open the PDF and select All tools > Organize pages.

Choose one of the following options to specify the page range for rotation:

  • Select the dropdown menu under PAGES SELECTED and choose a desired option.
  • Choose a preset option such as Even pages, Odd pages, or All pages.
  • Enter specific page numbers manually.

Choose the direction for rotation:

  • Rotate page left for 90° counterclockwise rotation.
  • Rotate page right for 90° clockwise rotation.

When preparing a PDF for export or sharing, use the Organize Pages tool to select, rearrange, and split specific pages.

Close the tools pane and save the PDF.

Note

To temporarily change your view of the page, go to View > Rotate view, and select Rotate view right or Rotate view left. The original page orientation is restored the next time you open the PDF.
