Convert PDF to HTML web pages

Learn how to convert a PDF into a webpage using Adobe Acrobat.

Convert PDF to HTML format 

Select Convert from the global bar.  

Select Other format from the left pane and then select HTML from the dropdown menu. 

The Convert panel displays HTML option selected in the Other format drop-down menu.
Convert your PDF files in to HTML format for seamless web integration.  

Select Convert to HTML.  

In the dialog box that opens, select a location to save the file.  

Type a name for the file and then select Save.   

Adjust conversion settings

Select Convert from the global bar.  

Select Other formats from the left pane and then select HTML from the dropdown menu.  

Select Settings to modify the export preferences. 

In the dialog box that opens, adjust the following settings as needed:

  • File and Navigation Pane Settings: Choose between creating a single HTML file or multiple linked files, and add navigation based on document structure.
  • Content Settings: Determine whether to include images and remove headers and footers from the resulting HTML.
  • Text Recognition Settings: Recognize text in images and set the language for accurate text recognition.
  • Restore Defaults: Apply default HTML conversion settings.

Select OK
