Insert a clipboard selection into a PDF

Learn how to insert text, images, or other content from your clipboard into a PDF file.

You can insert one or more pages of selected content from any application into an existing PDF.

Combine different file formats into a PDF in a few simple steps.

Copy the content to your clipboard, then open the PDF where you want to insert it.

Select All tools > Organize pages.

Select Insert > From clipboard from the left pane.

Insert copied content directly into your PDF using the “From clipboard” option in the Organize Pages tool.

In the Insert Pages dialog box, specify where to insert the clipboard content:

  • Before or after the first page
  • Before or after the last page
  • Before or after a designated page number

Select OK.

The clipboard content will be inserted into your PDF at the specified location.

To keep the original PDF intact as a separate file, select File > Save As and enter a new name for the merged PDF.
