Add objects

Learn how to add various objects such as buttons, videos, sound clips, and 3D models in PDFs using Adobe Acrobat.

Open the PDF and select Edit from the global bar.

Select one of the following objects as required from the Edit pane:

  • Button: To add an interactive button
  • Video: To insert a video file
  • Sound: To add an audio clip
  • 3D media: To insert a 3D model in U3D or PRC format
The Edit menu shows the list of options for adding objects such as Text, Image, Watermark, and more.
Adding objects to your PDF documents allows you to make them more interactive for other users.

Drag the cursor on the page to define the area for your object.

Your cursor changes to a box or a crosshair depending upon the object selection.

Click on the page to open a dialog box to set properties for a button.

Double-click on the page to open dialog box to load the files for Video, Sound and 3D media objects.

Select OK.
