Convert web pages to PDFs

Last updated on Aug 16, 2025

Learn how to convert web pages or entire websites to PDFs with flexible options for structure and content.

Adobe Acrobat browser extension allows you to quickly convert an open web page to a PDF. However, Acrobat on desktop provides more control, such as converting entire websites, setting page levels, and adding pages to existing PDFs.

Open Acrobat and then select Create from the global toolbar.

In the page that opens, select Web page from the left rail.

Enter the web page URL or browse to an HTML file.

To specify the number of levels on the website to convert, select the Capture multiple levels checkbox and then select one of the following options:

  • Get level(s) and enter the number of levels to include.
  • Get entire site to include all levels of the website.

To limit the content in case of multi-level capture, select one or both of the following options:

  • Stay on same path: Includes only pages under the specified URL.
  • Stay on same server: Excludes external domains.

Optionally, go to Advanced settings to customize the Web page conversion settings.

Select Create.

Note

You can convert additional pages while one is in progress, and they’ll be added to the queue. You can view pending requests in the Download Status dialog box.
