Learn how to set up a roaming ID account in Adobe Acrobat.

A roaming ID is a digital ID that is stored on a server and can be accessed by the subscriber. You must have an Internet connection to access a roaming ID and an account from an organization that supplies roaming digital IDs.

Windows

Select Menu > Preferences.

Select Signatures under Categories.

Select More from the Identities & Trusted Certificates option.

Select Digital IDs, select Roaming ID Accounts, and then select the add account icon.

The Digital ID and Trusted Certificate Settings dialog box shows the Add ID option along with Import and Refresh under the Roaming ID Accounts section.
To create a new roaming ID account, select Add ID and enter your roaming ID server details.

Enter the roaming ID server URL and description in the dialog box, and then select Next.

Type your username and password, or follow the directions to create an account.

Select Next, and then select Finish.

Note

When you perform a task that requires your roaming ID, Acrobat will automatically log you into the roaming ID server if your authentication is still valid. If your authentication has expired, you will be prompted to log in again to use the roaming ID.
