Uninstall Acrobat Reader

Learn how to uninstall Acrobat Reader on Windows and macOS.

Windows

Close Acrobat Reader if it’s already open or running.

Type Control Panel and select OK.

Select Programs > Program and Features.

Select Adobe Acrobat Reader from the list of installed applications.

Select Uninstall.

Select Yes in the confirmation dialog box.

Restart your computer after uninstallation is complete.

macOS

Close Acrobat Reader if it’s already open or running.

Select Finder > Applications > Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Right-click the app and select Move to Trash from the context menu.

Restart your computer after uninstallation is complete.
