Learn how to customize side panels in Acrobat on desktop for an efficient and personalized experience.

Acrobat allows you to customize the side panels to view the tools you want to quickly access while working on a document.

Open a PDF and right-click on the right panel to display the customization menu.

From the list of options, select the panels that you want to view and deselect the ones you want to hide.

Use the side panel settings to customize the tools visible in the right-hand pane, such as AI Assistant, Generative Summary, and Comment.

To reset the side panels to the default configuration, select Reset side panels.
