Adjust track volume in Adobe Premiere Pro by using keyframes, allowing you to create dynamic volume changes throughout your project.

Before you begin:

Create a sequence and add an audio clip to the timeline.

  1. Double-click on the audio track in the timeline to expand it.

  2. In the Audio Track header, select the Show Keyframes icon, and choose one of the following options from the menu:

    • Clip Keyframes: You can animate audio effects for a clip, including Volume Level. These keyframes only apply to the selected clip.
    • Track Keyframes: You can animate audio track effects like Volume and Mute. These keyframes apply to the entire track.
    • Track Panner: You can change a track’s volume level.
The Show keyframe icon is selected and the context menu is open. The context menu has Clip Keyframes, Track Keyframes, and Track Panner options. The options can be adjusted to audio track volume in Premiere Pro.
