Display controls in the Source and Program Monitors

Learn to add frequently used buttons and adjust the button layout to streamline your workflow and gain quicker access to essential functions.

By default, the most useful buttons are displayed along the bottom of the Source Monitor and Program Monitor. However, you can add more buttons to avoid searching through menus, set up your workspace to match your editing style, and adjust the button layout to focus on the tools you need most

  1. Select the Button Editor at the lower right of the Source Monitor and Program Monitor

    The Button Editor is selected, and the list of buttons appears for you to add and adjust the button bar below the source and program monitors.
    But the Button Editor to launch a list of buttons and customize the button bar under the Source and Program monitors.

  2. Identify the buttons you want to add in the button bar and dragging them from the editor to the bar. 

  3. You can create up to two rows of buttons and use spaces to organize them into groups.

  4. To remove a button, simply drag it away from the button bar.
