Import comments as markers

Last updated on Jun 23, 2025

Learn to import reviewers’ comments as markers on your timeline in Frame.io to link feedback to specific video points.

Note:

This article shows resources related to the Review with Frame.io (Legacy) panel for Premiere Pro. If you’re using Frame.io Version 4 (V4), note that:

  • Frame.io V4 accounts are not compatible with this panel.
  • To use the new Frame.io V4 Comments panel in Premiere Pro 25.2 or later, go to Window > Frame.io > Frame.io V4 Comments.
  • For users of Premiere Pro v25.2 and later looking to use the Frame.io (Legacy) panel, the extension can now be found under Window > Frame.io > Frame.io (Legacy).
  • You must link your sequence with the Frame.io video to import comments. This is done automatically if you upload your sequence through the extension, but you can also link a video to your sequence manually.
  1. In the Frame.io panel, double-click a clip to open the player. Available review comments are displayed under the play bar.

  2. Select a comment to jump to the video frame where it was placed.

The Link Playheads button highlighted with the reviewers' comments displayed under the timeline in the Frame.io panel.
Use the Link Playheads option to display the reviewers' comments in the Frame.io panel.

    Note:

To navigate to a video frame with a comment, select Show comments in the Frame.io panel or select Link Playheads below the player.

  3. A purple badge on a clip indicates it's linked to your sequence.

A purple badge on the clip in the Frame.io panel means that it is linked to the sequence.
