Learn how to enhance your footage by applying video and audio effects to clips in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Before you begin
Create a sequence on the timeline.

Select Window > Effects to open the Effects panel.

Browse effects by category or use the search bar to find a specific effect.

Drag and drop a video clip effect onto the video clip in the timeline.
Drag and drop an audio clip effect onto the audio clip in the timeline.Note:You cannot apply audio effects if Show Track Volume or Show Track Keyframes are enabled for the audio track.

Play back the clip to see if the effect is applied.
-
Customize the effect in the Effect Controls panel.
To see the effects applied on a clip, hover the mouse pointer over the effects icon for audio and video clips in the timeline panel.
