Learn how to add collaborators in Frame.io to share projects, gather feedback, and work together.
Note:
This article shows resources related to the Review with Frame.io (Legacy) panel for Premiere Pro. If you’re using Frame.io Version 4 (V4), please note:
- Frame.io V4 accounts are not compatible with this panel.
- To use the new Frame.io V4 Comments panel in Premiere Pro 25.2 or later, go to Window > Frame.io > Frame.io V4 Comments.
- For users of Premiere Pro v25.2 and later looking to use the Frame.io (Legacy) panel, the extension can now be found under Window > Frame.io > Frame.io (Legacy).
With Frame.io, it’s easy to add collaborators so that you can share projects for reviews and collect comments and annotations directly in your project.
Add collaborators using the Frame.io web app
Before you begin
Open your project in the Frame.io web app and log in to your Frame.io account.

Add a new collaborator to the project.

In the Project members dialog box, enter the collaborator's email address you want to invite.

The invited user must sign in with the same email address that was used for the invite.
Add collaborators using the Frame.io panel
Before you begin
Open your project in Premiere Pro, open the Frame.io panel by selecting Window > Workspaces > Review, and log in to your Frame.io account.

In the Frame.io panel, select the Add collaborator icon.
Select the Add Collaborator icon to start the invitation process and add a new collaborator to the project.

In the Project Members dialog box, enter the user's email address you want to invite.

Select Invite to trigger an email notification.
The invitation email will be sent to the collaborator's email address. The invitation notification is also available in the notification centers for both the Frame.io web app and the Frame.io panel.
Tip:
You can also create a project invite link using the Invite via link option and send it to users to let them add themselves to the project.
