Not all transitions have an adjustable center point. However, some transitions, such as Iris Round, are positioned around a center, and you can reposition the center to change the behavior of the transition.

  1. To open the transition in the Effect Controls panel, select the transition in the Timeline panel.

  2. The Effect Controls panel, in the A preview area, displays the transition’s default center point or any adjustments made to it.

The default transition center is highlighted in the A preview area within the Effect Controls panel.
To view the transition center, open the transition in the Effect Controls panel.

  3. Drag the small circle to reposition the transition center.
