Unable to find the cause of render or export issue

Learn what to do when the cause of a render or export issue remains unclear, despite following all recommended troubleshooting methods.

If Premiere Pro continues to hang or freeze during rendering and export, even after following the recommended troubleshooting steps, consider reverting to an earlier version of the application.

  1. Close Premiere Pro and open the Creative Cloud desktop app.

  2. Select Apps and them the More actions  icon for Premiere Pro. 

  3. In the context menu, select Other versions.

  4. In the list that appears, find the app version that you want to install, and select Install.
