Edit vector graphics using Vector Motion effect

Last updated on Jun 23, 2025

Vector Motion provides smoother scaling and transformation compared to standard Motion effects, especially for text and logos.

The Vector Motion effect allows you to edit and transform vector graphics without rasterizing them. This prevents pixelation and eliminates boundaries caused by undesired cropping when scaling or animating vector graphics. Use the Properties panel to make edits to individual layers within the graphic while using Vector Motion for overall transformations.

Before you begin

Create or import a graphic into your Premiere Pro sequence. Select the graphic clip in the timeline.

  1. Double-click the graphic in the Program Monitor to apply changes to the whole graphic using Vector Motion.

  2. In the Effect Controls panel, locate the Vector Motion section.
