Transform effects

Learn how to use the transform effects to rotate, scale, flip, or reposition clips and add smooth, custom motion to your edits.
Auto Reframe
The effect makes it easy to auto-reframe your video clips to match the aspect ratio of different social media platforms. It's time-saving when applied to a whole sequence at once rather than reframing a single clip at a time.
Crop effect
The Crop effect trims pixels from the edges of a clip.
The Left, Top, Right, and Bottom properties specify what percentage of the image to remove.
Select Fit or Fill to adjust how the cropped image appears within the frame.
Edge Feather effect
The effect adds a soft black border around your video, giving it a subtle vignette look. You can adjust the Amount value to control the width of the border.
Horizontal Flip effect
The Horizontal Flip effect reverses each frame in a clip from left to right; however, the clip still plays in a forward direction.
Transform
The effect lets you adjust a clip’s position, size, rotation, and opacity, giving you control over how it moves and appears on screen.
Vertical Flip effect
The effect turns your clip upside down, flipping it from top to bottom. Keyframes cannot be applied to this effect.
