Learn how to create audio presets in Adobe Premiere Pro to save custom settings and streamline your audio editing workflow for consistent results.

Create and reuse audio presets to maintain consistency across your projects. Whether you're editing voiceovers, interviews, or ambient recordings, saving your adjustments as presets helps you apply the same sound treatment efficiently.

To create an audio preset, do the following:

  1. Select an audio clip in the timeline and select Window > Essential Sound. Make sure you have automatically tagged the audio type.

  2. In the Essential Sound panel, select the Preset dropdown list to choose from the available options.

    To ensure consistency and save time, save audio presets for projects with similar audio assets.

  3. Customize the preset by modifying its properties, such as improving the clarity, repairing dialogue, adjusting loudness, or creating reverb effects.

  4. To save the newly customized preset, select the Save settings as a preset   icon next to the Presets dropdown menu.
