Learn how to add a Look-Up Table (LUT) to manipulate saturation and contrast, or completely change a clip's color in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Follow along with any project to learn how to apply a Look-Up Table (LUT) to a clip.

You can use LUTs to manipulate saturation and contrast, or completely change the color of a clip. LUTs are commonly used to create and save color grades that can be applied to give your clips a unique style.

  1. Create a sequence on the timeline. Select Window > Lumetri Color.

  2. Select a clip in the Timeline panel.

  3. In the Lumetri Color panel, open the Basic Correction tab.

  4. In the Basic Correction tab, select the Input LUT dropdown menu. You can add existing LUTs from Premiere Pro.

    LUTs saved on your computer are featured in the Input LUT drop-down.

  5. To add a new LUT, select Browse to choose a LUT saved on your system.
