Archive Team Projects

Last updated on Jun 24, 2025

Learn how to archive Team Projects in Premiere Pro to free up space and keep your projects organized.

You can archive Team Projects when work is complete, and the final output has been exported. When Team Project is archived, collaborators can no longer access it. Archiving Team Projects allows you to save completed projects for future reference while removing them from active use. This helps manage storage space and keeps your current projects list tidy.

Before you begin

Ensure you have the necessary permissions to archive Team Projects, communicate with team members to confirm the project is ready for archiving, and back up any important project files locally if needed.

  1. Select File > Open Team Project.

  2. In the Manage Team Projects dialog box, select the Team Projects you want to archive.

  3. Select the Archive confirmation button. The project disappears from the Team Projects tab in the Manage Team Project dialog box for the owner or any of the collaborators.

The Manage Team Project dialog box is open and a Team Project is selected with the option to archive it.
Use the search option to identify a Team Projects that you want to archive and select Archive.

    Note:

You can view the archived Team Projects in the Archive tab only if you're the owner.
