Before you begin

Create captions for your sequence and open the Text panel if it's not already visible.

  1. Open your sequence in the timeline.

  2. Open the Text panel.

  3. Navigate to the Captions tab > Ellipsis menu icon.

  4. Select the Ellipsis menu icon > Export.

    The Captions tab is open and in the Export menu, there are different file formats available for exporting transcripts.
    Export the caption from your timeline sequence in TXT, CSV, and SRT file formats.

  5. Select Captions and the desired file format:

    • Export to text file: Plain text file.
    • Export to CSV file:  Comma-separated values file.
    • Export to SRT file:  SubRip subtitle file for adding captions to videos.
  6. Choose the location and enter a filename.

  7. Select Save to export the transcript file as a separate file in your selected format.
